THIS IS ON PRIVATE PROPERTY, So we HAVE limits to how many people can attend..  25 per list MAX.

The farm is a little over 1000 acres mixed with fields, pastures, woods, two ponds, old barns, and lets not forget the John Deere tractors.

This is an ACTIVE farm.. There will be dangerous Farm Equipment and various barns and storage facilities that we will have access to.. so people need to be respectful of that and pay attention to what few rules there will be..

NO SHOOTS should be scheduled from 1pm - 2pm so we can all sit and relax and enjoy some down time with each other..

DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM NORTH OR SOUTH


I-70 to the US-40 (Buck Creek) /National Rd Exit  (EXIT 62).. Go towards SPRINGFIELD

TURN RIGHT onto BIrd Rd at the Marathon Gas Station. 

For those who still need to pick up things for the potluck, a Super Walmart and a Krogers is a mile past Bird Rd on US-40..

TURN RIGHT onto OLD COLUMBUS RD. it is at the stoplight before you enter Buck Creek.

TURN LEFT onto Grant Rd

You will go over a little bridge and the parking area will be 100 yards down to your RIGHT..

There will be an old white barn and a silver grain bin. [/b]

I will UPDATE the MAIN POST when people sign up or drop out. So you only have one place to check for those kind of updates..

BE PROACTIVE.. dont wait for someone to find you or post shoot requests on the thread.. Check the links to each model and photogs profile and contact those people directly whose look or style interest you..

POST your schedule on your profile..  That way people checking out your pics can see what times you have available.

My goal for these is not to just have a bunch of strangers get together and shoot random pics, but to facilitate some long term creative relationships in a fun and relaxed environment..

So USE THIS TIME before the event to TALK to each other and discuss ideas and finalize shooting plans... PM each other with ideas.. Use this time to get comfy with those you want to shoot with..

We are always looking for new faces, So if you know anyone who would benefit from joining in, feel free to let them know about it..

The only rule is that you have to be able to play well with others..  this is an Ego and Attitude free zone.. 


For those who have never been to one of my events and Before there is a mass panic by the culinary challeged, the Potluck Lunch rules are fairly simple..


We ALWAYS have our lunch at 1pm, (give or take any Coal issues) so we block out that hour for NO Photoshoots so people can relax together and get to know the people around them over a shared meal.


I ask each person to bring what THEY like to eat or drink and enough to share with 4 other people. If you bring Meat bring buns, if you bring Beverages, bring ice..

That way you ensure there is something there that YOU like to eat or drink.. and again, can share with those around you..

I always bring extra tubs and coolers to store things in for those who may not have one.

No cooking necessary.. So no worries.. There are more than enough DELI options and most people just stop by their local grocery store deli on the way to pick up something..

So as you decide, check the POTLUCK Signup list and if there isnt enough MEAT, or if you see something that hasnt been thought of, chime in..


We often have vegetarians and Vegans at these so if that is your thing, BRING what you eat because there will be someone else who eats it as well..

And some who will eat anything in front of them..  (names withheld to protect the less than innocent)...


I run these on the HONOR SYSTEM..  There will be a sign in sheet attached to the payment bucket (Ok, old oatmeal can) so you dont have to see anyone to sign in and pay.

IF YOU NEED CHANGE in order to pay, DO NOT take it upon yourself to open the oatmeal can.. Find someone who can make change for you. Again, this keeps everyone honest.

I just wanted to let you know I will not be able to attend this group shoot. The Bengals home schedule is out and since I work in the private suites at the games I will need to work. One day I will be able to shoot at this farm.
