Thanks Risa for starting this thread.  And thanks to everyone that responded to this, his profile, and mine.  I'll be sure to share this with his family.  It was good to meet all his friends that I never got a chance to meet before.  It seems we are all friends now and hope that doesn't change.  They shared their Oliver stories with us and made us laugh.  I've also reconnected some other photog friend's of Oliver and we promised ourselves to rock the camera harder for him.  He was the first person I call when I have new ideas in mind and the foot that kicks me in the butt to do it.  He will definitely be missed but not forgotten.  I'm sure he's up there right now with a better disposable camera.

I miss him terribly. And I didn't even know him off this site. But he was one of many I would have liked to get to know.  We love you Oliver .We know you're with our lord now. But it's not easy for us to comprehend  how you were taken so quickly and so young.

Oliver and I were the NorCal boys of the shout box and everytime I saw him come in, I'd always say: "OLIVER!  SHOW THEM MY MOTTO!!" and he's ALWAYS have a new motto to give me, which is pretty impressive considering we knew each other on MM for approx. 4 years.  I'll always remember him for his photography talent as well as his ability to say something witty and deep at the same time. smile

it is spoken only once or twice on the shout and I remember as if it was yesterday. we look at the sky while doing our best to incarnate these values
