You already know I'm here, there are quite a few amateurs as well. I'm curious to see who else posts though...there is quite a bit of talent around that I've seen.

I've done a bit here and there.  you can see some of my body work on my website www.andreamakeup.com in the fantasy section.  and then of course on mm there is my tiger lady.  I'm itching to try out a few other ideas I have, and I would like to try the clothes illusion with body makeup, but have yet to have the opportunity.

Naomi is on here though she does not post much.

She just got selected as one of the finalists for Orlando. I guess it is quite the deal to be selected for that.

I'm not an MUA - don't claim to be one. I can spray a foundation and do do fundamentals - but that's as far as I'll lay claim to - and that's NOT the same thing as being an MUA.

But - I bodypaint with passion and see no end in sight... gotta love them details!!!!

I do bodypainting. i want to learn more about good clean facepainting. I always get nervous when my models flinch. And I hesitate to do detailed painting around the eyes. But it's good to see so many body painters online smile

So far i only do make up, but i would love to learn bodypainting. There are incredibly talented bodypainters on this site from what i have seen.

Could anybody in the know share what they think are good avenues to learn bodypainting or where i could begin research?

Body Painter here . . . also MUA, stylist, and esthetician all in one!  Oh, I have been known to throw down on some hair if ever needed at a shoot!

There are so many of us here . . . I love it!

...having recently worked/collaborated with Paul Roustan, I can highly recommend his artistry, subject knowledge and his ability to help bring the "magic" of airbrush painting to the fore.

Paul did the infamous Egyptian goddess series now showing at MM's dgoldphoto portfolio - page 2.

I dabble in (airbrush) body painting, but I am trying to get better. Would love to assist a good body painter to learn a ew new tricks though.

p.s. LaT is a great body painter!

I am new into body painting. I have been doing mural work for years & just started the human canvas. It's so much fun for both artist & model.

I do it in an abstract way, not painting clothesor anything like that. I think the scene in general is so over and oversaturated I don't really bother anymore. I am not that good at a lot, but I am happy with what I can do.

Oversaturated, perhaps...but while it is no longer cutting edge like it was a few years ago I've had more callas and bigger clients calling now more than ever.

Thanks Rich, he is one of the reasons that I do what I do . . . I would urge anyone to check out Filippon Ioco at Iocoart.com to see some incredible work.

The Airbrush Master what else can you say . . . he is the MASTER!!!!

Air brush I assume?  What I always do to get the modles comfortable with it is talk comfortingly to the the whole time I'm working around the face. I'll start with just air in each stroke and then add color after they flintch and calm. Seems to work great for me.
