Those are pretty rad. I didn't think to get my camera out. As soon as I heard the thunder, I ran to bed and hide under the sheets till all the bad noise went away.

Those are the 2 sexiest fellas I ever seen. I mean that in a totally hetero way.

Hey, it's prefect for shoot right now. This light is soft with the overcast. Who's down to shoot? Maybe it'll be like this tomorrow too.

Technically, I was the photographer. smile Mike Lee is one of the most Photogenic Models I have ever shot. He sure can deliver. I think he needs to put up a model port and let us shoot him. Im thinkin ARTISTIC NUDES with DRAMATIC LIGHTING. You know, the line you photographers use to get us models Naked lol lol lol

Thanks for startin this thread up Harold. Id love to see some of you guys get together and do some impromptu shooting and create some awesome shots for the thread.

I had to put it up. Its such an Awesome shot. I finally got a chance to put up some shots in my port since Im 'semi-retired' till November. I enjoyed shooting with you, but I actually appreciate the time we spent talkin shop and lookin over your portfolios when the camaras were away alot as well. smile Its not always about getting SHOT for me. Ive truely met alot of Awesome people while I was in Vegas and these are people who I would hangout with even after shooting

Oh, 1 more thing. Im really leaning into getting this camara

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp … 8084392413

Its within the budget for me. About 1,000 I would love to know your guys opinions. Im baisically ready to step up to the next level and graduate form 'poin n shoots'. Im also having alot of Nieces and Nephews doing those things you want to capture on camara, so Id like to get some better quality images. You guys think this is a descent camara?

Dude, I think that's a phat camera. it's the latest rebel that's out and you already used a rebel. I think it would be more than good to get that.

I'm looking to get a new body myself. I want the D700 full frame camera but I have no means of paying for it.

DSLR - Nikon D200 w/ sb800, 3 lenses
SLR - Olympus OM2 35mm w/ hot shoe flash, 3 lenses

Lights - Strobes and slaves (generic, they were just given to me for free) I use the softbox sometimes. Plus I have a bunch of hard lights, and scoops.

a nice lighting kit will prolly be my next purchase for sure, just no exactly sure what I want yet though

Hey just wanted to drop by and say Hi.

I'm still looking for guys to step up do my faces project so if anyone wants to let me know. I have gotten a few who said they would but come the day of the shot they drop off the earth.

I put a studio up in the house and have been shooting like hell. It sure beats shooting in the heat in the summer.

you obviously havent seen some of the 'real model' profiles on here who dont have the 'LOOK' either. lol Trust me, Ive seen some stuff that has scarred my mind, but, at the same time, Inspired me.

To be honest, I do have a project I want to shoot Mike with, he just doesnt know it yet but after I shoot it, I garuntee you guys will like it. Especially him smile

I remember a thread a long time ago where the model posted a pic of her boyfriend and asked if he could be a model. The responses were brutal!!! Then I came in and said, "Its not always about how he looks, but what photographers he works with that could help him become a model".  I said that because I believe it is true. you can take some 'JOE SCHMOE" off the street, but add a photographer, a cool concept and possibly a designer and the next thing you know, you have a Model with a shot that could sell or be published on Billboards in Vegas. Im living proof that anybody can be a model. Seriously
