Desert workshop/group shoot 9/27 Victorville, CA
Karl Yamashita and Drew Santos are holding an event in the desert about 30 minutes from Victorville area. There are abandoned houses and dry lake bed to shoot at. This is a workshop and group shoot all in one. We're here to share our tips to begining photographers. We'll help you get hands on experience in using affordable and portable on-location lighting equipment. To make use of the workshop, Pocket Wizards are recommended. You can rent the PW's from Calumet or Samy's if needed.
For photographers who don't care about the workshop, they can shoot the availabe models attending for the group shoot portion.
Time: 1pm to 5pm
Location: We'll be meeting at a rendevous point around Victorville or Apple Valley at 12pm and carpooling to actual shooting location. Meeting place will be emailed to you 1-2 days before the event.
Photographer fee: ⢠Workshop - $120 fee with $60 deposit.
(For photographers who want to learn working with strobes. Group shoot included.) ⢠Group shoot - $80 fee with $40 deposit.
(For photographers not interested in the workshop portion.) Fee non-refundable unless event is canceled. Remainder balance to be payed at meeting location. Payment by Paypal. Contact Drew Santos with your full name, phone number, and email address for payment instructions.
Model releases are not included. Cost of model release will depend on what the model charges.
Refreshments will be provided.

Bikinis, lingerie, not sure about fahion but then again, who knows what the models would bring. Nude, hhmm....I'll guess I'll try to get a nude model for this one.
Drew and Karl are awesome.....I've learned soooo much from these guys. You will walk away with new knowledge and be a better photog. I cant say enough about the talent these two poses.
