Thanks to all of the Top Drawer members who voted for Julie in this week's contest - she's a terrific young woman and most deserving of the recognition. I will be featuring her on my site, most like in June - so stay tuned. Thank you all for your continued support.
There are significant reasons to consider her a very promising new model.
Firstly, she is very close to agency-standard measurements, at 5'9" and 125lbs. Secondly, she as quite adaptable to beauty, fashion, and edgy editorial work - there's solid examples of all styles to be seen in my submission. Thirdly, she wants to be an actor, which clearly helps with emoting and body awareness during shoots, not to mention feeling at ease with being the center of attention while being expected to perform. She knows modeling enhances her pursuit of acting, and it's likely this works the other way around as well.

Only approved members of The LIST may submit to the contest, and the entries are only voted on by members of The LIST-Top Drawer.
The contest allows new models to get a jump start with some photos shot by an experienced photographer. It's also a way for the LIST members to give back to the community.
So, check out The LIST - do a little reading to understand who these photographers are. If you scroll down a little, you will see their locations listed by state (after 'The LIST-Top Drawer' member locations). California currently has dozens of approved LIST members, so you are in luck! Check out the portfolios of the ones in your area, and consider sending a few messages out, asking for their interest and availability for a Newbie Model of the Week shoot.

I am most pleased to re-enter 19-yr old Caitie as my entry in this week's NMoW contest (www.modelmayhem.com/2431318). Although Caitlin joined the site only a few months ago, she's already shot with a few local photographers before we worked together just last week. She's a theater major in college, and is a natural in front of the camera - gracefully posing and projecting her inner beauty with ease.
