Drew and Karl group shoot, January 30, 2010 in Riverside, CA
To start off a new year, Drew and I will be hosting an indoor shoot in a nice home in Riverside, California. Since it is too cold for an outdoor shoot, we are renting this location to keep the models nice and warm.
Since the location is not as huge as our last several events, there will be a limit of 20 30 photographers that can sign up.
This will be a two part event. The first 4 hours will be the group shoot, where you can meet and shoot the models. The last 2 hours will be for 1 on 1 shoots. Hire the models you like and shoot with them without other photographers shooting over your shoulders.
Some rooms will have strobe lights set up. You can rent wireless triggers from us if you don't have any.
3 bedrooms, living room, dining room, family room, and studio in the garage. You can shoot outdoor if it isn't too cold for model.
Hire models after the event for 1 on 1 shoots at 1/2 hour increments As you meet and shoot with the models, you can schedule a time slot with the model.
When is this taking place and how can i reserve a spot? Date:Saturday January 30th.
Time:10am to 4pm. The group shoot is from 10am to 2pm. From 2-4pm you are allowed to hire models for 1 on 1 sessions at 1/2 hour increments.
Attention! we have added an extra hour to the 1 on 1 shoot, so total of 3 hours or 6 sessions at 30 minutes each.
Location:Riverside, CA
We'll email the address and information to you several days before the event.
Photographer fee: $80 fee with $40 deposit.
⢠Deposit is non-refundable unless event is canceled. No exceptions!
⢠Remainder balance to be paid at meeting location.
⢠Deposit payment by Paypal. Don't have Paypal? Get one or miss out!
⢠Contact Drew Santos with your full name, phone number, and email address for payment instructions. For non MM members reading this, Drew's email is BMWM34DREW@aol.com
⢠Model releases are not included. Cost of model release will depend on what the model charges. Please get your model releases signed before the 1 on 1 starts at 2pm. When 2pm rolls around, the models are on the photographers time and must not be interrupted. I recommend you start getting your model releases around 1:30pm.
⢠Photographers, you have 5-10 minutes to set up your lights and/or moving to different parts of the house after each 30 minute session, when shooting 1 on 1. We will have a sheet to reserve certain spots of the house for you. You and a model must sign in to reserve that spot at that time interval. You will have to move location every 30 minute sessions so other photographers and models may use that spot.
⢠Lunch and drinks will be provided.
NO ESCORTS, HUSBAND, BOYFRIENDS, OF SOME SORT FOR BOTH MODELS AND PHOTOGRAPHERS! But if you absolutely need to bring someone, they will have to pay the $80 fee.
Information here subject to changes.
Keep checking this post for updates...

Photogs, this model rocks! Her one on ones will sell out for sure. Better message her and reserve quickly... but you need to reserve your spot with me first.

I got you down Dan. Same paypal address. Dang, we're already half way down the photogs list and lazy Karl hasn't posted more fine ass models attending.

Lazy ass Drew won't give me MM# so i can't update the models. He tells me to look their names up, which didn't work.
So I was out scoping a new place to shoot at today. That Leila model would look hot at this location. Send her my way Drew.

Ok I'll be bringin' some beers and some random food/snacks as always!
Get that list going, I wanna see what madness we are in for!
Don't underestimate our events. We are never short of, not just models, but quality models. Whoever said "quality is better than quantity" is a moron. At our events, we have both.
If you bring beers and duck/deer/elk/wild boar sausage, Matus will come again.
Really looking forward to shooting with everyone at this event! My name is Olivia,
Contact me personally so we can set up a time if you would like to work together! Make sure you contact me if you'd like to shoot together, can't wait to work with you all xoxo

Ha! I just had to see it was a Drew and Karl event and I was sold.

I've already snapped up half her private time (unless she takes me up my offer to shoot the following day).
I'm not stupid. I learned to book private time waaaaay in advance. That way I can hang out and shoot casually during the group portion, then get down to business later.
BTW - Suggestion - perhaps whenever time permits add another hour or two for private sessions. I always end up wanting to shoot more folks than time permits...
(and I'm not betting with you anymore Drew. I learned my lesson, I think that was the first time I ever lost a bet before I made it)

Well I thought maybe smaller location would limit models, but Drew, I don't doubt cha, I was just excited there would be more quality models!!!!
Well I have fresh Deer/goose sausage I can bring and I will have beers, so tell him to join the fun! My cousin just got an Elk up in Utah today, so I'm not sure on the timeline, but I might have some fresh elk to bring...
I might also bring some Wahoo mix to go with crackers too, for those that like fish. I guess you could say I'm not the usual chips & salsa guy, hahah.
