My guess since he mentioned it before is that he doesn't like a mod deciding the outcome of the contest.
I don't see a problem as you are allowed to have a vote. I am sure many people count the votes and let the current count sway there decision.
And also as Chris has said before, the Mod should vote in the MIDDLE of the day so there isn't any controversy over who the vote goes to. It shouldn't be the Mod's last vote before the banner goes down that breaks a tie. That just doesn't seem fair to me...

I don't give a rat's ass what Keeling has to say. He claims that he's finished with the contest, so I will hold him to that. And as far as I'm concerned if you don't like the rules then go somewhere else.

As moderator on a contest myself, I can say that it makes perfect sense for the MOD to hold their vote till last to decide a possible tie break decision. Keeps the contest moving with no delay on results.
There's a lot of work goes into the Moderating of a contest.......Tom keep up the good work, and thank you.
