Mirrors fall of because unlike nokin(yes i spelled it like that) canon users use there equipment relentlessly. We get so many good shots its hard to stop shooting. Nokin users only shoot a little bit because once they see the images they say to themselves...."why bother it looks crappy, I should have gotten a real camera, I should have gotten a CANON!! smile

??? ROFLMAO!!!! you guys keep shooting because you can't get the shot the first time. lol Plus the Canon mirror just falls off from just sitting in the sun. Who the hell designs a camera and uses double stick tape to hold the mirron in place? lol

My camera has had it's firmware updated once and is at 1.10, canon's 5D MKII is at 2.04 after they messed up on 2.03. lol

Don't even think of comparing your puny little D300 to the 5D MK II. Not even that weak D700 can compare to it. Does Nikon even know how make videos? I think the most they can do is 720p. LOL

The reason its only been updated once is because the morons at nokin aren't smart enough to improve on crap. Canon Customers expect technological advances immediately. Nokin is too busy makeing vest and gift bags at trade shows while canon is improving on its on greatness. There is a reaon why when you look at a sporting event that you see 90% white lenses and the photogs shooting them being forced to wear a yellow nokin vest. lol

At least our stuff works, lol. How many lens did Kesler have to go through to finally get one that works? You get what you pay for lol
You camera sucks at focusing, the only reason why i know is because you complain to everyone about it, lol.

My puny little cam has alot of features that make it worth every penny. If you want to get I to who has a better cam debate Feature for Feature; putting a D300 vs 5DMKII the winner is pretty obvious.

Sorry to go on a tangent from your serious technical discussion but anyone else here watching the fight later. I am planning to get it at my house so any of you guys or gals are welcome to come. Either bring $100 or a snack; your choice. Models in lingerie can come for free. Let me know first.  I already have a few friends coming but it would be even more fun to have a few more.

Canon 5D Mark II Advantages
• 1080p Video
• Resolution

Nikon D700 Advantages
• Reliability
• Autofocus
• No black dot issue in images
• Better Automatic ISO implementation
• Nikon CLS

The D700 blows away the 5d MkII lol

Yeah but mine is realiable like the D700. It doesn't have black dots, mirrors falling off, focus issues, or high ISO noise... lol

Nikon doesn't have to update the firmware as many times as Canon because they don't have issues. WTF? Black dot? Is that your technological advances you're talking about? ROFLMAO!
