Nude Outdoors?
Have you ever been caught outdoors shooting nude? What are tips and advice on this? A Park Ranger caught me today, pretty funny actually but interrupted out shoot. Aug 04 10 03:23 pm Link That's where an escort is handy  to look around while you keep busy.Got caught once by a civilian.The car of the model was parked nearby(we were shooting in the woods)and without any warning,a woman shows up asking:"is this your car up there.It might be dangerous it would slide off the road since there's that big crack in the pavement close to it". Well...sure,we will move it...bummer.Aug 04 10 03:25 pm Link Frequently get caught out. I always use the same line, "Hello. Hope we are not offending you". Response is nearly always the same, something like "Nooo. Not at all, Carry on, carry on." Only once had a problem. Was shooting this set https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/16491718 and had a silly old cow ring the emergency number and report an old bloke taking photos of kids. Cops turned up as we were finishing. Not a kid in sight and the model was 23. Male officer was a bit surly (I think we interupted his morning coffee). His female partner, a pleasant faced chubby little sweetie, thought it was a hoot. She didn't stop grinning while she checked out the images on the camera, supposedly looking for photos of kids. Aug 04 10 05:17 pm Link I have been stopped shooting my human statue pictures by Park Rangers.. First questions was if this was for private or commercial use.... if you are doing something for commercial (National Park), they will normally ask for a permit. Female Park Rangers seem to have more of a problem than there male counterparts but no tickets, no hauling off to jail. Aug 04 10 06:52 pm Link I was actually doing nudes with a male model once in a state park; nearly right after we finished and he had just gotten dressed, two rangers drove down and they stopped by us "You weren't doing nudes down here, were you?" We said "Nope" and they said "Okay, have a good day" and went on their merry way  I've actually shot nudes with a model in a public park, in some pine trees right by the road. Nobody noticed, and no one bothered. Nope, never had an issue! Aug 04 10 06:54 pm Link This is a little off subject but...at my last shoot,got evicted and the model was full clothed...  but we arrived at a kid's playground(belonging to a housing development)and...that woman didn't want us there...she didn't want her daughter to be in the picture by accident.So,before she call the cops on us,we left. I've shot on streets, in parks, on private property, inside common areas of hotels and countless other places from Chicago to San Francisco. This park ranger snick up on us through the trees, got our information, said we can't have any nudity here, and we left. I then walked over to talk to him. When I approached him he wanted to know if my model was dressed yet, I said she was, he then asked me if if was okay if he got a picture with my mermaid model. Tear-aways & a beach towel. Really! Lol! Oh, and let's NOT forget thick-soled watersafe flip-flops!!! When going short distances between spots OR taking short breaks to do MU touchups or what-have-you, wrap urself with the beach towel. When walking 2/3 minutes or more, hop into the tracks. Trust me, I nearly put a poor older lady into cardiac arrest about 2 weeks ago, but was SO saved by quick hands & my trusty ol' beach towel! Lol!
