I was model #3793 on that place.... ahhhh... those were the days.

I just went there today and all I could think is -

1) who the heck needs 350+++ images in their portfolio - 20 great images are better than 300 mediocre ones with a few gems that are hidden - and I wont search for

2) WHY is the portfolio with said 350+++ pictures on the FRONT PAGE which make the pages take forever to load?

I'll never go back there....

That place has been a disaster since 2008.

www.StarStudioModels.com also will copy your MM port directly without any work on your part and sets it up as a clone, plus gives you 200 free photo slots. No llimit on how many messages send to other members per day.

Free membership with no upgrade needed.

The same here; No moderators to speak of, so don't have to worry about saying something politically incorrect and getting brigged.

Why did we wake up a zombie thread.

That site looks fine except they have no members.

Hi,
I also have profiles, (as Gennaver) on:
Model Insider
Broken Doll Models
IModel
Model brigade
Model Wire Network
and
One Model Place

However, I look at the forums and castings here mostly.

No doubt about it. There is also iStudio.

Istudio creeps me out.  I communicated with a few models from that site, and all 3 of them turned out to be lying about their age and were actually underage.  They all had provocative photos, and one even had nude photos of themselves, in their port.  That site is on it's way to getting busted.

My port on omp has 415 images on the FRONT PAGE and loads in less than 10 seconds. it must be your computer.

In the UK I think these are interesting sites...

net-model is one that is quite interesting... but it is getting quite stale now.

A site that is not a modeling site, but heavily used by alternative models and photographers is fetlife....

Purpleport is also a site that gets quite a bit of attention in the UK... lots of casting calls, but it just does not seem to do anything...

adultindustryresources.com is a good site, but depends on what type of modeling you do...

Model Society is excellent, especially for art nudes..no porn. They also do feature articles on their members complete with a video slide show if you have a story to tell. Check out the one they did on me... http://modelsociety.com/blog/nude-photo … inst-odds/

In South Africa there's The Model Network.
Nice to see the industry growing there, mainly in Cape Town but Johannesburg and Durban are growing as well.

it depends.
for Charlotte, NC there are only 7 models available (there are many thousands on MM, though).
and among those few, no one visited modelinsider.com for a year or so.

Modelling Northern Ireland. As a model, you can arrange modelling from the above.

I also recommend maxmodels.pl

I just looked at Model Insider and totally was put off after 3 minutes of browsing.

You guys reminded me I had a OMP account from many years ago.
I logged in. Searched for photogs that I could and couldn't find here.

And I found a casting!
Yay!

The last time I checked hits onemodelplace was a factor of 20 down from mm and the rest were at least a factor of twenty down from onemodelplace so unless you are after a specific niche market like fetlife mm is the only game in town.

Just noting this is a zombie thread, so most of the sites mentioned here are no longer viable. It does not hurt to check them out... but IMO MM is by far the most active.

Color me amused. That & we all need to chill.

When a person unwittingly revives a long dead thread (maybe after doing a search we as a community whine it's a zombie thread. When a person starts a new thread, we whine & complain, "Why didn't you do a search?!"
