We are officially SOLD OUT. I'm waiting for a couple of deposits. Waiting list forming as I need approval from the homeowner if we could squeeze 10 more photogs.

I also need 2 assistants for my bikini catalog shoot tomorrow at the beach. Send me a PM. You have to be registered for this event to be accepted. First come first served.

Hey Drew;

You made a very good point last Sunday when we were watching the Super Bowl at John's house.  You said that "some Playboy Centerfolds are unable to shoot 'nudes' if they are still under contract" (2 years within their appearence date as a Centerfold).  Are ALL of the models available for nude 'private shoots' after the February 27th event?  If not - is there a list of the models that will be shooting nudes after the group portion of the shoot?

I'm sure all playboy models will shoot nudes after the group shoot portion. I might even ask some to shoot topless/nudes during the group shoot portion. we'll never know.

I'm in.  Deposit sent via PayPal.

Looking forward to shooting with this group of people.  I hope the weather is good on that day...

BTW:  I understand that photographers will only be able to book 'one on one' shoot time with the 'Playboy' models on the day of the event.  There is no way to book any of the Playboy models in advance for a private shoot.

I have a question:

Will a signed model release be included with a private shoot with the Playboy models?

I ask you this question because we have no contact with the Playboy models in advance of the event date.   Signed model releases are always included with private shoots when other promoters stage events through ModelMayhem and photographers book 'one on ones' with models for nude shooting at said events.

Also:

Is there any way we can find out how much money the Playboy models will be charging for their 'private shoots'?  I realize that the Playboy models will be from a variety of their publications, both print, Playboy TV and virtual online.  I understand that the Playboy models are not all Centerfold Playmates that have appeared in the magazine.

Please advise.

Thank you!

This is my first workshop with this stellar team. I've pestered Drew on email a bit too much, so I'm hoping you folks can help me resolve the following questions.

1. Will there be lighting set up at each shooting "spot" by Drew/Karl's team? Meaning I can just show up with my camera and CyberSync tripper and shoot?

2. Will the lighting stay there during the later private/1-on-1 shoots? If not, how much lighting do you typically bring in? Or do you just shoot available light?

3.  Is a Cybersync transmitter going work with the light setup? I can borrow/rent a PW if it's much easier.

4. What lenses do you recommend for the shoot? What are the typical indoor/outdoor distances at the workshop?

5. I think someone already asked this, but are the model releases already covered? If so, are they covered for the workshop _and_ the private shoots?

I appreciate the collective knowledge here and am looking forward to hanging out with all the talent photogs out there. I want to make sure to meet everyone in person.

^ Here are the answers:

1. No, photographers will supply their own lighting. Some photographers will be using CyberSyncs, so you can ask them if you can use their lighting during the group shoot portions.

2. See the response to question 1. Some photographers will have lighting you may be able to use for 1-on-1s. You can always shoot available light.

3. There will be PocketWizard Plus transceivers available for rent.

4. This is a personal preference. I normally shoot with a 85mm f/1.4 lens indoors, which gives me a 7-10 ft. working distance.

5. No. Model releases are not included.

I to am a newbie to this wonderful experience.  Will there be any lens rental opportunities?  How much should i expect to pay for the 1 on 1's, and the photo releases?
Thanks,  Steve
