For the greater good...FSU needs to win today...and the rest of their games so they are ranked as high as possible for when they play the Gators....and then GO GATORS! My sister went to FSU (very sad for her)...but the only reason she went there is because she did not get into UF academically. That says something doesn't it.

At least the Gators have never lost to USF! I just don't know how you could ever get over that! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Poor little indians. Yup, the Gators are one of the worst teams in the SEC. I'm just happy they were able to welcome Texas A&M into the SEC properly. That was close. The Gators will be back, I'm just not so sure it will be with THIS coach. Ugh! Only time will tell. One thing is FOR SURE today. The baby bulls are going to get killed by FSU tonight.

If its any consolation the Gators would run away with the Big 10(how many years in a row did they fuck up an overrated big 10 team in a major bowl game?)

Clearly, someone thinks the Gators are ok since they are ranked #11. The Gators have a number of games on the schedule that could send them dropping like a rock! I dream to the days when both the Gators and Noles meet up in late November both undefeated. I like the National Championships going through the state of Florida....if only Miami, USF, UF and FSU could all be ranked in the top 10...they came close once I think.

Miami,UF,and Fla state regularly all finished in the top 10 in the 90's and I think as recently as 2001 or something... USF is well on their way,and don't forget Central Fla being relevant as well The trick for all the schools is to keep all the homegrown talent in Fla as IMO there is enough to make all 4 teams really competative. The problem is that you know have teams like Rudgers and UCon that are now keeping their regional talent home.It used to be all the kids wanted to play somewhere warm because their "home teams" sucked, and Pa State was the only regional powerhouse that was any good(of course with what happened to Pa State all the talent in Pa will probably start to look elsewhere, and with Meyer in Luckeyeville they could either go there or Rudgers if they want to kinda stay local)

Hi everyone, I am coming into this kind of late but I figure better late than never. I moved to Florida (Sarasota to be precise) a year and a half ago and have been trying to figure out what the photography scene here is like and all I come up with is a big, fat zero. I enjoy meet & greats and I like to network but mainly I like to actually get my camera out and use it. What I am really interested in is meeting and working with models and photographers who actually get out and do stuff with their gear and not sit around all day and just talk about it. I really like the workshops and group shoots that bring together models and photographers in a round-robin format where everyone can work together and benefit. I have encountered a few so-called promoters since I moved here but they have turned out to be all talk and no action. I have tried a couple of times to put together a group shoot and actually had commitments from models I was willing to pay and all of the so-called "photographers" in this area up and disappeared into the woodwork. One guy last year kicked me out of his group just because I was trying to put together a workshop that would have benefited everyone. I still shake my head over that. So what gives, do the photographers and actually work together or is everyone afraid of cooties? I would definitely like to get into the pipeline for activities in this area so if there is anyone out there with a pulse or anyone knows what is going on please fill me in. Thanks.

I can't imagine why you would have issues with people what with the way you sweet talk them We should be having a meet & greet in the first part of November You are free to come and join us and meet some of the locals Best of luck

I'm just reporting the news as it happens. I know how hard it is and how much work it takes to put together a Workshop or a Group Shoot and since I own my own IT Consulting business I have time to put these things together. Last year I put out a call for models and photographers to attend a Workshop. I was going to pay the models since you do get what you pay for and TFP tends to be a waste of time since it attracts mostly wannabees and flakes. I had some good models signed but when it came time for the "photographers" to do their part all of a sudden they were no where to be found. I still have the email from the tool who tossed me out of his group for trying to put a group shoot together. Basically what he said was he was upset because he didn't have a piece of the action and couldn't put his name all over it. When I found out why he was hurt I offered to give him top billing but he had already gotten his panties in a twist and there was no talking to him after that. I also crossed paths with the DB who runs Aurora Photo out of Tampa and that guy is definitely all talk and no action. He is so full of himself it's a wonder his head hasn't exploded. He truly gives all photographers a bad name. There are a lot of posers out there but I am having a hard time believing that there aren't at least a few togs who care and want to make things happen. At least I am trying, it would be nice if some of the fence sitters would pitch in and lend a hand things might actually get done.
