I've had to back off on my shooting lately...the sessions themselves are fine, it's the hours of editing that are the killer.

Wish the hell I'd hurry up and get good at this photo stuff, to where my pics don't need editing smile

because my pics are all parts of series i just do batch operations.  saves sountless hours smile  But that probably wouldnt come in handy with artistic shooting where you only want a couple good shots sad

The girls that contact you on Facebook and say...
OH MY GAWD! I love your work! I want to shoot with you!
Then don't show up or call or do any of the professional things a model does.

My wife (a graphic artist) constantly chides me about not using batch ops...she does, for many of her corporate meeting shots, luncheons, etc. Hard though, when I shoot in many different settings, changing light, comp, etc. I think a few Dave Cross classes are in my future, to improve techniques and workflow.

I will do all my edits individually but then when I have 20 or so images all open at once I will use an action for setting all file meta data, file save as .psd, image resize and resolution change, file save as jpeg at certain quality, close file etc.  All of that for a lot of images would take forever and take a ton on my right wrist...it takes zip when the machine does it.  I love actions for stuff like this.  smile

This is not what I was thinking when I looked on the Weather Channel App and saw Partly Cloudy with 75/62 and 10% chance of rain.  It was foggy and raining driving to work and the entire sky is gray!  Yuk.

Ugh!  I have never done well with a posting, only with referrals or meeting people in person for the most part.  Postings have never been good for me but I usually say all the wrong things in my postings...so not only does it keep the crappy people away but also the good ones.  smile

Good luck!

Can only speak for myself, but...have only had one flake ever, and had a fantastic response to my last couple casting calls. Even had a casual fitness shoot turn into a nude when I was changing batteries, surprising turn of events. The sacrifices we make for art...

After looking over the Casting Calls, doesn't look like very many total views for many of them...would think that it's more lack of traffic than anything personal.

Very cool!  I have only flown once in the last few years.  I'd like to go to a lot of places so hopefully that will change for me one day.

I like that style. Hey, I was "reading" Playboy back than. It's what I grew up with.

Me too, she looked great  .  .  .  "Playboy style" nudity back then, sure is different than now though  .  .  .  I think it was the early 70's when the centerfold actually showed pubic hair  .  .  .  course now, they're all shaved anyway  .  .  .  wink  Little Annie Fanny was my favorite "article"  .  .  .
