Also, if you want to purchase your own domain name, you can point that at your Tumblr blog. Most free sites won't let you use your own domain name like that.

You're also very welcome to post links to your MM profile, or to any other web page you own or are involved with. It can be a nice way of driving some additional traffic to your other online endeavors.

I'm still learning how to customize it. The basic use of it is drop-dead simple, but a lot can be done to customize things. I'd eventually like to write my own theme, but that will probably be well into the future. For now, I'm fairly happy with the selection of pre-written themes available for the site.
