Wow, thank you Loretta. It is always nice to be recognized by one's peers. Your bodypaint looks good, reminds me of something swirly I did when I was first experimenting with the art form (but yours is better and mine won't see the light of day). I am also honored that you would put me up with Airbrush MAster who has definately paid his dues in this very limited form of business.

Pashur is also excellent, as is Mark Greenawalt (though I forget his MM#). There is also a really strong female artist out of Texas, and I could kick myself, but her  name is escaping me right now.

The two current artists I admire most aren't on MM I think:

Joanne Gair and Filipo Ioco

I like too many people to count, but body of art, pashur, roshar, bodypainter rich and andy golub stand out. Also, I posted this link last night of bodypainting around the world (NWS as there is some nudity) and think that is shows some wonderful work as well as some work I am not that thrilled about.
Edit: I cannot believe I forgot Ocean Clark, one of my personal favorites.

2nd, and not just for the obvious reasons. Lisa's work has always blown me away, from the minute I layed eyes on it.

I second all of the above mentioned as well. There's some incredible talent here on the ol' MM.

You like me, you really like me!

Ah, there are some great artists here on MM - a lot to admire... my favorite fun image today is Roustan's Petty on a Petty. Very cute!

What I love about body paint in today's world is the incredible variety of style... each artist is really making the form their own...  and after meeting the likes of Pashur, Jinny and the Wolfe Brothers in person, it is nice to know that there are some wonderful people behind the paint.

Joanne Gair. I have worked with her recently as an assistant. Not only is she kind and gracious...from the minute the shoot begins to the minute it ends....18 hours later, she is an excellent teacher. Very fair and generous. I am very fortunate to have worked with her and learned so much. She is the perfect example of how to behave in this industry. Gracious, humble, and kind!

My favorite bodypaint artist is Mark Greenawald in AZ

While Im at it, whats your opinion of the pic of Craig? I put it up for random critique and got squashed. It took me 2 hours to -get- that shot and he loved it.

....big fan of Mr. Pashur myself.

i've actually yet to see ANY bodypainting that i don't like.  Granted, there are some styles i prefer over others, but it is all so very creative.  Technique and technical difficulty is what my respect goes out to the most.

Has to be one of my favorite things ever.  Thanks to all the incredible participants we've had, and my photog #616211 (Dim Horizon Studio)!

Which one?  I'm in NZ and will definitely be picking it up.  Love her work so much.  Enrolled in her class a few years back but she was sick and had to cancel. sad

Nick Herrera, Nix Body Art, is my favorite body painter.  His work is by far the most innovative and cutting edge work out there.  I am so proud of him and everything he does, and I love him.

There are a lot of great makeup artists out there.  Some of my favorites are

Pashur for his creative color flows

Alex Hansen for his stencil and depth

Lisa for her creative illusion concepts.

Nick and Brian for there creative staple in the industry

Fillipo Icco for his for being a bad ass

Mark Frasier for being one of the first artists to bring body painting into the mainstream

Joanne G. for giving a young boy reason to buy Sports Illustrated when you don't care for sports

Mark Reid for his astounding painted on jeans

Mark Greenwalt because he is one of the nicest people to work with

John Neyrot For his amazing combination of beautiful photography and body painting a staple in the Key West industry

Vargas for his amazing hand painted clothing and pinups

And Nick Herrera because he's just so damn sexy
