how did your first nude experience go?
My first nude experience was GREAT! My second one was A-K-W-A-R-D. An experienced photographer makes all the difference in the world when you're new to nudes. Now I've done so many nude shoots that I couldn't care less if I have any clothes on or not, regardless of how comfortable/experienced the photographer is. Now I consider it MY job to make THEM feel comfortable, not the other way around (especially since I get paid now). Sep 26 11 06:20 pm Link First was 25 years ago with my gf at the time, we had a blast. Didn't shoot models again really until a few years ago, now I have shot around 185 nude models. Sep 27 11 04:52 am Link Easy. It was with a fantastic photographer who was very respectful and well mannered. He made me feel very comfortable and was a total professional. That can't be said for all my nude shoots unfortunately. But my first one was a great experience, thankfully. Sep 28 11 03:22 am Link I was shooting a bikini themed set in January with 2 feet of snow outside. The model asked if I had anything to drink? I gave her a 4oz juice glass and a bottle of hard liquor. She filled the glass to the brim, slammed it back, stripped naked, and demanded, "Take a picture of this!" That was fun until the liquor began to kick in. She headed to the bathroom and began praying to the porcelain god, then passed out on the floor. I dragged her limp, nude body into the bedroom and put a blanket over her. No sound came from the bedroom for hours. The sun was setting and I was trying to figure out what to do with a drunk, unconscious, nude, model laying on bed. Sep 28 11 03:35 am Link It was piece of cake. The first time behind a camera with pro lighting and hired models I did 3 nude shoot. I'm comfortable around women and nude ones as well...lol Now if I was nude while shooting that might be uncomfortable...lol Sep 28 11 03:41 am Link hbutz New York wrote: What. A. Lightweight. Sep 28 11 08:25 am Link It was very good . . . but the model thought it strange I was the only one nude . . . Actually cheers and all the best to those who put their best forward. God made us nary a stitch on . . . and for good reason. Sep 28 11 08:31 am Link Mine was a long time ago, I was using film. I was somewhat nervous, but she was a model for a photographer friend of mine and experienced at it. She was lovely and professional. I tried for the effect of some of the 1930's-40's nudes Weston et all did an OK posing job, mostly with her help ,poor tech job but it turned out OK. and no,, none in my port right now Sep 28 11 08:47 am Link My very first nude shoot was very memorable to say the least. It was a horror/gore type of shoot that ended with me being covered from chin to toes in fake blood. Not to mention, it was in December, outdoors, with a temperature of 40 degrees and a wind chill of 35 degrees! After freezing my ta-tas off and then some, my husband and I left the shoot to head home when it dawned on me that I didn't have any more of my make up removal wipes! I made him stop at the grocery store on the way home to get me some. After he was already in the store, a mini van with 2 young children and a soccer mom pulled up next to our car. Not thinking about my present state, I waved and smiled at the 2 kids like I would normally do...they screamed for their mom and when she saw me, she yanked her 2 kids by the arms and raced inside the store. Just then, my husband emerged from the store with my wipes in hand, and I yelled at him to get in the car and drive us out of there! I didn't want the cops showing up...after all, I looked like Carrie from the prom scene! Sep 28 11 05:10 pm Link I hired Kymberly Jane, and she was so fun and goofy that it was hard to get all serious and nervous about it, plus we were outside in my backyard sets. That was my first fully nude. Previous to that I tested topless with a friend in her bedroom and she had snakes, so there was a bit more insecurity w the intimacy of the situation and the fact there were hideous monsters about.
