In just 24 hours! Check it out. It's really cute! Her mom is a pro photographer and did the video. A family friend is a producer and recorded the music at his home studio.

She looks angry, like she's having a fit, and someone put it to music.

Well, that's pretty much what head banging hard rock is. Someone having a fit and putting it to music!

DUBSTEP VERSION

drop at "open up this pit!"

reminds me of some UK gabber I used to listen to when I was younger

I could see "get your two-step on" getting sampled for ages

Cute.  But it's not like she's showing any real talent or even expressing herself.

tongue For everyone bashing the "talent" I don't see it as a video exhibiting talent but rather just a fun way of putting kids into an unlikely situation in terms of music videos, too often do we see kids imitating pop, etc but rarely would you ever see an 8 year old let alone a girl imitate hard rock.

I'm the only one who's referred to her "talent", so I assume you're addressing me.

I agree with you entirely.  It's not a video exhibiting talent.  Putting the kid into a unlikely situation in such a fun way was cute.

The guitar sounds like Steve Vai.. I wouldn't be surprised if it actually was him. He's been known to do stuff like this.

Actually wasn't addressing anyone in particular, mainly a general response to all the 'blah', 'irritating', 'has more talent' etc.

The kid, the song and the video aside, isn't just sad how common it is to blend self-promotion into a 'news' story these days?

So I think it's fair game, since the mother's photography website is highlighted in the beginning of the story, that we look at the fantastic art she is making...

Sorry 'bout that, I didn't realize how large this ridiculously tacky picture would load here...
