I am definitely looking forward to attending again this year, and working with all the brilliant photographers and spectacular models again! It's such a blast to get out there among to many talented artists.
One note to all the photographers--Anyone interested in teaming up on speedlites/lights to overpower the sun on some of the early afternoon shots, Strobist style?

Agreed... and this is looking like a really large group. How many total?
I see approximately 80 participants on the carpool list. 65-70% are models, so 30-35% are photographers. Let's add 20 for MUA/HAIR, escorts, etc. The photographer flake rate for a TF event is about 30-40%, models 40-60%, hair/mua 10-20%, then average that out, there will be approximately 33 people on Saturday and 47 on Sunday. Right Gary, right?!?!?!??!?!

Hmmmmm... wellllllllll... I can't vouch for your percentages there... BUT... with an amazing location and loads of great new mid-state models to shoot... I'm thinkin THIS is the shoot to be at on June 2nd. After coming to groupshoots for over 20 years... I can always spot the best ones to come to...

Last year was my first Hot Rod Portfolio Jam, and Brian was a great host and everyone was very friendly and helpful. I am sure I will be there for the Sunday shoot. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
