Due to the popularity of IMATS NYC the lines at booths can be rather long. In fact last year was sold out and tickets were being selling for crazy money on craigslist. Therefore I have created a special pre-show event just for Make-Up Artist Pro Card holders and press.

Come on Friday the 13th from 2-6PM and avoid the rush. You will have first looks and receive the royal treatment. Our editorial staff will be reviewing portfolios as we are looking for photo stores for upcoming issues. I am also inviting select models and photographers as my guests.

There's no charge for this pre-show event but you most have a Make-Up Artist Pro card. If you don't have one yet take a few minutes and fill this out:

I'm going Sunday, and I'm really new!  To apply for the Pro card, what sort of picture ID do I need?  I'm not licensed, and as far as I know MA doesn't require makeup artists to be.

Most people upload their drivers license.
