Hello,
Big thanks to all who replied in previous thread, hopefully I learned alot from it.
Just finished this image, spended ton of time on it), please critique

You've removed a couple of stray hairs on the left, but I can still see the tips going over her fingers.
Otherwise perfect from what I can see, but I'm no expert

Thanks, I know about hairs, just deadly tired already
TRC Photography wrote: This is a fantastic retouch... beautifully done, and NOT overdone. Nice work. If your rates were reasonable, I would absolutely consider using you.
I feel no distraction because of the hairs over the fingertips... leave them or take them out... will not make any difference to me.
Thank you I consider my rates very reasonable but its not 1-2hr work, so not 20$)
Now I'm scared, probably some big retoucher will come and destroy it

You can (and should) learn technique from other retouchers, but they are not to whom you should go to determine what is or is not overdone...your customers are photographers, so it is ultimately their opinions that matter.

Thanks for reply Are you sure you see IHP? Maybe its oversharpening seems like IHP? I oversharpened it to show texture work better, cause it was retouched for portfolio. (2.4 px and 2nd pass 4 or 5pixels)

I like the retouch you have done but with that much detail I think there is still a bit more that can be done to improve the image...
the lip line can use some tidying
the teeth can use some work
also the areas by the shoulders look fake, its too sharp
I notice some spill of the skin colour onto the nails..
I think the image should be tilted a bit to the left as well just to create a sense of symmetry
just my opinion... all in all, you did improve the image a whole lot...

I've never liked the tiny catch lights that are at the bottom of the iris. Did you give any thought to toning down specular on the inner right eye
I like how you thinned the nose, but the skin color has gone a bit gray.
You might also want to take a second look at the highlights on her teeth.
Love the way you fixed the baby fingernail, but now the index fingernail looks short! LOL

I don't really know anything about retouching but I really like the overall look of this. It looks natural and gorgeous. For me, the crease in the arm (bottom right corner) is really distracting. I don't know what you could do about this but that's all I can focus on at the moment.
