Always. On everything I can, at least.
This is the big "holy crap in 4 weeks we have FIVE KIDS for the summer" shopping. Lots of staples, and things that will be used to make staples that we freeze, like soup.
Speaking of... anyone like split pea? I have 3 gallons of it frozen.

Next time I'm down there (sometime this summer, most likely, as my dad and stepmom just got their pool opened up) I'll have to stop and visit!
Also, the feeding people... it's a Southern thing, pretty sure.

Last night I went grocery shopping with my mom and sister.
Three carts. ~$500. Four hours.
We took my car. Have I mentioned I drive a '99 Volkswagon Golf hatchback? I have NO idea how we fit everything into the car, but we managed it somehow. Crazy. That'll feed my family of six for three weeks if we really stretch it out.

I'm changing my diet to only include sprouted grains and raw foods. It was expensive as hell but totally worth it.

Yeah, if we hadn't used coupons it would have been around that- but I can't NOT use coupons. I have a whole book of them. And things were on sale. But at least I can feed the demons well for the next few weeks- my oldest is hitting the hollow leg stage. My youngest was born in it.
Epona, are you changing it because of allergies/illness or what?
