I will be shooting some beauty today and need the models hair to be slicked back tight in a bun, but will be lighting her hair with gels and I really want her hair to be very shiny and slick looking so as to reflect the light from the gels as well as possible. Anyone know any tricks that will photograph Well?

Silicone setting sprays. Or hit with Hardhead or Joico Paste then spray with a water bottle to taste.

The smallest bit of oil works lovely.

wet hair,gel it back in bun and lots of shine spray...I just did the same look today on 3 models.
