Kai..is well known...he is a silly man who sometimes reviews cameras..but he seems to be in good company with Ken Flopwell.
you guys need to check the forums more often. This vid is part of a series. these guys have used DSLRs as hammers, set them on fire, etc etc. their original goal was to demonstrate that the non-weather sealed (i.e. consumer) bodies were pretty legit already. This is just going up the food chain a bit.

Digital Rev is the Top Gear of photography shows. They do reviews and other photography topics, and inject a whole heaping of fun. Is it silly? Sure. Is it sometimes educational? Yup. Is it worth watching? YMMV.
Pretty impressive thats for sure. However had the camera had a solid lens mounted to it then it never would have passed the truck test because the lens mount would have broken off with the lens. I've known 2 people that happened too. One 7D and one E-5. lol
Kai is not too bright though. If you take a bag and put it in water ad freeze it...... the air will be pushed as the water freezes and that was why the bag opened or burst. Not " oh , there seemed to be a hole in the bag" dork.

actually (and you can try this with a toy instead), by the time the water is frozen enough to push the air out and open the bag at the top almost all of it will be frozen and there will not be enough liquid water to pour in and infiltrate the camera body enough to fill the interior completely with water. not to mention the fact that ice is less dense than water so it would be ice falling inside the open bag from the top, not water. His explanation (even coming from someone appearing to be a hamster) is actually much more plausible. but plz dont try it with a camera. try it with a toy that can fill with water to prove to yourself. several basic quirks of water at play here. careful before you call someone not too bright. someone might call you on it
