I'm at the point where I think it's time to approach them but unsure of what I should do or say. Can someone give me some advice?

Learn how to effectively collaborate with a full team for your sessions... i.e. hair stylist, make-up artists, wardrobe stylist and/or clothing designers... know how to work with AD's for an agency's paying clients, till then you aren't even close...
