I went and I spectated this for ComiCon this past Thursday. Sounds awesome in theory...
Was highly overpriced to watch and IMO, was highly overpriced to run the course. The zombies can actually touch you but it doesn't make a difference (as far as I could tell). I think there were prizes at the end of it so it might have had something to do with it. Hopefully they can fine tune it and do it again next year!

Things are going to get intense!
Based on how the cast are just raving about the prison set and how amazingly detailed it is, and from seeing the 4 minute promo for Season 3, it's gonna be a long 3 months until the season starts October 14th! Michonne, the Governor, and Merle? How can you go wrong?!
Oh man it looks pretty good!!
I just can't wait for tomorrow night Season 3

INTENSE ! Last season got kind of boring until the last two shows. This started off STRONG. Somewhat true to the comic. I sold mine though and I'm going off memory.
I really wish they were a little more aware and accurate with their firearms in the show. Sort of ruins things for me when a gun isn't even cycling when it's being shot. Although I'm aware I'm the minority who even cares.

You didn't notice last season a couple of them evidently had an invisible 50 round drum? TV shows and movies hardly ever get the number of rounds a firearm/mag/clip holds right. We should be used to it by now.

Oh I did. There were just tons of really obvious ones in this premier. It wasn't even the number of rounds that bothered me so much, it was the fact the the guns weren't even cycling the rounds during close ups. And yeah, everything ends up being a fully automatic that just fires for minutes upon minutes.

That is really bad on their part. You think we could get jobs as firearms advisors with AMC?

How about the number of zombie head shots they were able to get from rather long distances with pistols while clearing the prison?
so once they cleared the yard, they sat and relaxed, started a fire and sang camp fire songs and none of the walkers that were outside the fence were trying to get in to them? They just walked around??
Other than that, loved the episode!

They do seem rather docile from a distance, like when they lumbered after the sound of the helicopter, then the gunshot at the end of season two's second to last episode.

Fun episode though!

Did you really expect to come into a thread like this and NOT see people talking about it?? Common sense should dictate watching the episode FIRST, then coming into a thread about it.
Youre welcome
