Whatever discomfort I may feel at being nude in front of someone the same age as my grandpa would be dismissed in the pursuit of amazing images. What else matters?

Kinda makes you wonder if someone isn't posing nude for (personal) reasons other than the more mainstream reasons of creating beautiful images and/or getting paid.
Unbelievable. What an absolutely shallow idiot to pass up an opportunity to shoot with you. You are to photography what Mick Jagger is to music; a rock star. My family was so impressed by you yesterday. This model is a moron and has no idea how great a person you are to know, much less shoot with.
Errrr, I've never heard of such a thing, I love shooting nudes with older photographers. For her to decline a shoot with you strictly because of your age....she must be crazy.
So in answer to your question, No, I don't think it's possible to be "too old" to shoot nudes, even erotic nudes.
If you were 100 years old, I'd still want to shoot nudes with you. Skill matters, age doesn't.
Wow! Just when I thought I had seen everything... if everything has been done in photography, we can't say the same in finding ways of amazing people the wrong way!
Her loss, entirely... hope she realizes one day what she missed.

Damn Phillip, you're even older than I am. You make beautiful work and it's unusual for a model to dismiss you so callously. Keep on working, what else is there to do?
In my opinion, its all about the results you get at the end. Age does not come into it at all. Its about the talent, experience and teamwork that make the great pictures. Also, what age is classed as "too old" to be doing photography? And, what is excatly is classed as "old?"

Quite honestly I have been a BIG fan of your work and if she thinks your too old to shoot her.......her loss! I have never let age determine who I work with. Talent is Talent.

If this wasnt MM I would suspect one of your friends put her up to it just to give you a hard time..... but this _IS_ Model Mayhem, so I suppose it takes all kinds......
A few years from now, when the model in question realizes her error, she is gonna feel like such a fool for passing up the opportunity to work with you

Oh, and I make no apology for being a horny (well,sometimes) old bastard of 55. Strangely, it has never seemed to have any negative effect on my photography or complaints on my demeanor. Sheesh. I'm too busy shooting to really think much on those lines anyway.
