concealer... First the undereye is typically blue/purple so it's appropriate to conceal camouflage with salmon colored concealer... Second may have to raise the shade with pale yellow/pink (depending on undertone) to color match tint/tone/shade of the adjacent cheek area...

High pass and/or dodge/burn/clone at the pixel level...

also illumination plays heavily into the mix... hard light at angle showcases textural anomalies... soft large source on camera axis minimizes texture...

all the best on your journey...

I'm going to assume you are in this forum to specifically court makeup advice.

I love working with freckled skin!!! I love that if you do a great targeted concealing job and leave the freckles all the work to make it seem like her/his skin is actually perfect is already done by having visible freckles.

To conceal undereyes, I avoid all colour correctors as too many products on such delicate skin tends to get a bit heavy. Instead I reach for a very highly pigmented concealer such as Kevyn Aucoin sensual skin enhancer (love this product so much!!) or dermacolour in a pinch (although the texture of this isn't ideal for slightly older skins). If you find that you have covered freckles in order to eliminate circles, I'd add the freckles back in. In the past I have done this with a (clean, never used) toothbrush and alcohol pigment for a true random splatter, although around the eyes I might be nervous about using an alcohol based product, so instead I'd either take the needle out of my airbrush and splatter, or go in and apply by hand.

Hopefully this makes some kind of sense!
