Is ~~this Sunday~~ (totally goofed on the date when I made this thread) Sunday the 24th and I was wondering if any MMers will be there? In spite of growing up here,I have not been to the parade yet and really want to go before I move to CO in a couple weeks. I always wanted to go but every year there would be something else I had to do or I would forget when it was sad

This year is going to be pretty great and it shouldn't be uber hot out.So who all is going?

My aunt is going she lives in Chicago and goes every year.... I will be on my way to St. Louis and then to boot camp... I think it is weird they would do it on Father's Day just sayin.

I think you've got your dates mixed up - its the 24th.

Its always the last Sunday in June.

I got all excited when I saw that it was happening bfore I move to CO in July and totally goofed on the date when I made the thread. Oops!

Lived here most of my life and have yet to go. Super excited I found out when it was and that it is before I move away for good.

Well today is the big day..................and I can't afford to go. sad

On top of no money,I woke up and the pinched nerve in my neck decided today was a fine day to act up so I can barely move.

So disappointed.

They do it on Canada Day here so the Mayor has an excuse to pull a no show.

Not sure what's wrong with holding it on Father's Day!

Just finishing a rooftop party overlooking the last strip of the parade here in NYC. It so happens that I live on the last block of where the parade goes (Christopher Street), just call it crazy. lol

That's where we were for the parade. Trying to get out of the area felt like we were all rats in a maze. It was insane. The parade was fun, though.
