I'd appreciate some feedback on my portfolio.  I've been modeling for a little over a year (though I've worked quite a bit in that time frame).  I'm not looking for comments about my body type or looks, but the content and quality of my images, and anything you think I am missing (style/genre), or images you think should be removed.

My goal is to make myself as marketable as possible.

I'm thankful for the help!

Well...

The text of your profile puts it all out there. If I'm looking to hire you, I know what to expect, and I'm pretty certain that we're going to work out details within one or two messages.

Your portfolio shows a wide range and very ably shows your features, form, and a range of expression, as well as a willingness to throw yourself into the shoot.

I could nitpick with photos, but there's no real point to it. I know the package in looking at the photos.

Just very nicely done all the way through.

Thank you very much, I really appreciate you taking the time to respond. :-)

Well, I'm kinda biased in that I'd love to get you back in front of my camera, but your port is absolutely fantastic.  If you were going to add to it, beach shots seem to be popular, and long, windswept gowns in the desert/salt flats.  Maybe a couple of rooftop sunset cityscape shots too.  Beyond that, you're pretty much there.

Thanks, those are really good ideas!  I haven't really done a whole lot of beach shooting, but I'd really like to.  Once it's cool again, I'll hit the desert. :-)

Here's what I think should be removed so that the strongest images stand out, and I am going left-to-right across the rows of your main port which ends at photo 45: 1,4,5,8, 10, 17-26, 28, 30, 33, 41, 44. I think I made a note also about 15.

I would consider moving the photo by Philipe up and making it your avatar. Philipe is very well-known.

The photos I recommended for elimination in your MM portfolio contain often what I thought were bad angles on you and some of them made you look short.

Genres: Fashion and Swimsuit, location and studio.

Your'e in Banning! I actually did construction work out there a long time ago. God, what a hot outpost of hell.

I hope this helps you.

marketable, to whom?

you have a lot of redundant images:

Wow, you're right!  I hadn't really looked at them that way.

By marketable, I should have said "marketable to the broadest range of clients and/or photographers that I can be".

The shots you took with Philipe are SO GOOD they kind of make everything else look bad in comparison. It is an odd dilemma.

I'll just add another vote to the "Lovely images and well thought out profile - crowd"

You have a lot of images that revolve around "you-photograper-camera" - with less interaction with your environment, or situations (19 of your images, out of 41, are making direct eye contact with the camera)

And to pose a suggestion, that in order to show more versatility - you might add some images - where you are working with other models (showing you play well with others)

And create some images showing a storyline setting. - showing you can act and play to a theme or setting.  (Like your outdoor shot near the water)

Just my 2 zinc pennies

Keep doing what your doing, you can't go wrong.

Looks, figure ect photographer would have to be a dork not to get a good capture.
