I will be in Vancouver in September - my other profile is listed on my profile.

If you are in town and want to talk about what opportunities are available then, send me a message.

Since you're not tall enough to do the usual big agency stuff there is an agency here in Toronto that has lots of Russian girls, Ukrane etc, called Rouge. The girls get work with rock videos, trade show, film, etc.

Strangely enough the free lance market here seems very small. In Paris lots of models are freelance and it works fine. In Toronto not at all.

When I'm in Paris girls come from all over the place and funny here in Toronto I have girls coming from the US, yet no local girls even ask.....

Lots of great photographers.

However you can't work with them unless you have an open work permit.
Student visa may allow you to work some, but you should double-check.
A work permit just for modelling will have restrictions on which jobs you can do, and I doubt you have that as you would need an agency to bankroll and deal with that process, meaning you would not be confused about the industry.
A work permit based on a different job you've gotten in Canada will not allow you to model. Not even TF.

If you're just moving to Canada, I hope it's to get married, or you really cannot work with anyone, not even for trade.
Most people worth working with won't touch you unless you're legal, and I would suggest not putting yourself or others into a possibly dangerous legal debacle even if they do.

Canada is DANGEROUS & full of moose & felonious perverts, besides you surely wanna get warmer than what the GTA can offer.

I'd recommend southern Ohio. smile

I truly think she would be better off moving to the Greater Terlingua-Study Butte Metropolitan area

I am from England and i moved to Canada and lived there 20 years. Its AMAZING place to live and work. Toronto would be the better place for you , you will do VERY well there. I lived in Toronto and there are many many amazing photographers and lots of work there for models that are top notch. You being Russian you will stand out from the crowd and you will be busy.
A lot of Canadian girls i have shot with that are now professional models, end up in the USA. Good luck and look me up when you get here. I would LOVE to shoot with you .
