I have a total of 4 acrylic palettes in that smaller size:
(each one holds 30 jars) that holds all of my pigments and glitters in small jar, screw top containers. I label each jar bottom and can clearly see in through the acrylic case that holds all 30 jars together.
****just need a rubber band to keep the lid on if you stack them sideways in your kit. Also, the rubberband keeps the jostling noise down.
I love this setup b/c it is so small yet easily useable. Also, I can split my pigments to have 1/2 in my kit and 1/2 for moi, since they last forever
the larger acrylic palettes(holds 24):
hold screw top jars that one is filled all liquid Highlighters and cream blushers.
The other is filled with various foundations. These are filled with BB's and tints and Kevyn Aucoin SSE. I buy the SSE's in light and dark only and custom mix with the MUFE flash color palette.
The "pigment" palette is $7.99 each from *Joann's fabric and craft store*.
The "foundation & highlight/blush" palette is $9.99.
I used coupons from the paper and my iphone each time I bought more.

Glad I could help Look in the beading container section at Joann's for these. You will also have to get small round stickers for the labeling or use a labeling system since they do not come with the stickers.
^^^Cool idea. MUAs are some of the most resourceful people!
@Dani, thanks for the tip on JoAnn Fabrics. I got some great square containers similar to the pic you posted. They come with 25 little pots and they were on sale for 48 cents each! Woot!!

oh this is great!
Thanks for teh tips and ideas on how to travel better with pigments. I could never figure out how to travel better with them going to see what I can find
Hi,
Just a thought, if you decant and put the product in another jar it can cause problems with your public liability insurance, also if the product caauses an allergic reaction or proves faulty, the manufactures can blame you since it's not in the original jar. I have taken out public liability and product indemnity insurance to make sure I'm covered. You do need to be careful, I would definitely recommend product indemnity insurace because it's not expensive and it gives peace of mind.

Interesting. I will look into this for sure, thanks!
I should mention that I do use 99% alcohol to spray the open containers and lid undersides before I put any makeup inside them. Of course this is a given but just in case

Very interesting point and I can definitely see where you're coming from.
Depotting is such a common practice in the industry - I wonder if a case has ever disputed/rejected by the Liability Insurance company because of deporting?
I would hope that kind of issue would be something the community would hear of.
Most of us aren't lawyers who can give legal advice, but points of discussion for a theoretical discussion:
1) If the product were depotted into a container made of the exact same materials as industry product containers....
2) Sanitary practices can be just as bad with depotted products as those still in the original container....
3) What about palettes that were specifically designed for depotting makeup?
