I'm a big fan of movies, and I think placing the right song in the right movie at the right moment is an unnamed art form.
What are your favorite music in a movie moments?

I generally don't like songs with lyrics in movies. I like soundtracks.

The Tiny Dancer scene in Almost Famous. Cameron Crowe has a knack for it as suggested above in Jerry Maguire.

I would say just about any of the songs in Pulp Fiction. Tarantino does a good job with the soundtracks to his movies.

I've always enjoyed seeing what song they're going to put over the intro to the latest James Bond movie, too.

fwiw...I think Horner's music in Braveheart is awesome and my notable moment is when William Wallace appears to be surrendering after magistrate slit his wife's throat.

Not a movie, but for me some of the best five minutes of film combined with music ever shot is the end of "The West Wing" two cathedrals.

Great stuff. All the proof needed to show that truly good episodic television can rival (or surpass) any feature film.

In "Dirty Dancing" when Swayze is teaching "Baby" how to dance the song "Hungry Eyes" is used............works perfectly for that scene and words are right on.
