I do like your pose and attitude in the shot. The lack of background contrast may hurt your chances of standing out in this photo as an avatar. I will say 50% yes. IMO this is the 2nd best shot in your port for an avi......you have another that is a clear yes!

It is very clear with good contrast. The legs def stand out and draw me in wanting to see more. So in short, the answer is yes. Great work!
