I'm very excited and honored to have been invited to serve as a panelist at the Make Up For Ever Pro Road Show in Boston, a 3-day networking & educational event (as well as shopping opportunity) that is free for professional makeup & hair artists. The panel I'm serving on alongside several other local pro artists (lead by Michael DeVellis) is career-focused, and is called "Getting the Work You Want" - it will take place on Monday the 20th.
So! I need to organize my thoughts so I know what to share from my own experiences, particularly as one of the newer artists on the panel. What sorts of things would you want to hear? Marketing tips, finding your niche, networking, testing/building a book, etc...?
Let me know... and, New England creatives: will I see you there? I can't wait to meet everyone!

"Getting the Work You Want"? Might consider sharing your business model and how has it evolved to meet the dynamics of your market...
btw, totally love MUFE product... rich pigment concentrations and amazingly vivid hue and chroma...
I am so excited for the road show, and hopefully I will be attending your class. Congratulations on the opportunity.
I would maybe talk about priorities, in terms of marketing ventures (networking, business cards, website, social networking sites, comp cards, etc) ... how you decide which to focus on when, and which to focus on more
It's always helpful to learn various ways that you go about finding new clients and opportunities.
