I remember a number of years back there was this MAJOR uproar about shooting with Suicide Girls

There was talk that if a model shot with them their contract would deny them the right to shoot with anyone else for years and years and that if you were a photographer you would be bound to them

I remember it being quite a thing back in the day

But I don't think I've heard the name "Suicide Girls" for a couple of years now

Are they even still in existence
And did the contract thing ever get sorted?

Yep, still around. A friend of mine is a SG. Apparently, from what she told me, the contract changed a little.

I shot with a girl that I later found out was a suicide girl with some following

I don't really care, the people around me were sounding like it was expected that I knew

This fact probably would have been interesting to me when I was a teenager

I don't really rank suicide girls any different than I'd rank a popular Zivity girl, so maybe that highlights some deterioration of the SG brand, or maybe it highlights the low barrier of entry that social networks have created for alternative llamas in the last few years

there are a lot of SG girls on zivity. i don't know if they are SG refugees or just doing both.

I know their crappy show is still on late night TV with disgusting ladies.

do they just let anyone be a SG now? i checked out their FB once and they had all these weird, boyish-looking, plump and/or unattractive chicks on there. some didn't even have tats/piercings, they just looked like regular people. it was really confusing. i thought they were supposed to be, like, alternative or something.
