My ultimate goal in life is to be a Victoria Secret model, I want it more than anything. I recently got hired at Victoria Secret also (not like that helps anything, just saying). Does anyone know how I can achieve this goal? I'll take all steps necessary.
How can I become a Victoria's Secret model?
We select models from both the Ford and Elite Modeling agencies in New York City. Unfortunately, we do not have information to release regarding specific criteria they must meet. We suggest that you contact a modeling agency if you want to pursue a modeling career.
Unfortunately, you don't meet agency requirements.
Agencies rarely make exceptions, but if you want to test the waters, show up for an open call or click "Be Discovered" on their websites (or "become a model").

.... No, no you didn't. They haven't changed. Ford and Elite in NY *sometimes* make exceptions for those under 5'9. 5'10-5'11 is ideal, and always has been.
Trust me. Were that the case, I would've moved to NY instead of LA.

Thanks for clearing that up. I had a feeling I seen that somwhere on their site that those heights were just ideal.

Sorry hun.
But if you like swimwear and lingerie pictures, you can start building up your portfolio in that direction. Just because you can't model for Victoria's Secret doesn't mean you can't model for fun.

You're more than likely right...
It was a long while back that I came across what I found.
Looks like I need to update info...

If you're ever curious, go to the Be Discovered section of agency sites.
Sometimes they don't list requirements. In that case, click through the models and look at the heights and measurements. They usually stay pretty consistent.

Hey, I was 5'0 in sixth grade and prayed REALLLLLY hard to be as tall as the Wakefield twins (5'6) and I ended up topping out at 5'9 and 113 pounds. Sadly, I was not blessed with cheekbones or a decent rack, nor parents who thought my dreams of being on the runway were worthwhile since, you know, I didn't have a rack (they didn't get fashion). This side of the camera is better because I can eat way more pizza rolls.
Your dreams are yours, realistic or not. As long as you are having fun on the journey, the destination doesn't really matter.

Hope should be tempered with a little realism.
But if you think you're VS material, by all means drop in at Ford's and Elite's headquarters and see what they say.
Yeah, I tend to prefer hope followed by action...
I had hope to be a model, so I moved, got signed, and now I go out on castings and jobs on a consistent basis...
I'm not anyone important, don't get me wrong-- tons of girls do this and many are more successful than I am-- but my "hopes" are backed up by me working my butt off for this everyday.
Briana you are a cutie but you its very doubtful you will be a VS model for runway or print but so what. You're pretty and have a nice figure so start your own intimate wear store. Instead of dreaming for working for someone else who's ideal of beauty you may not fit. Create your own path. How do you think VS started? http://whiteorchids.hubpages.com/hub/Hi … ias-Secret

Good point. Magical fairies don't do the work for you. I still assert that confidence is step one. If you don't believe in yourself, why should anyone else?

I model in VS all the time just not for them . hahaha
