The image does have to be on the web somewhere, it can not be uploaded from a hard drive.

1. You aren't supposed to put huge images on the forum
2. The image you linked is that size.

Okay what I did is uploaded the image to MM and the I copied the link that says forum link and I paste the link in the forum. When I am uploading the image to MM it makes me downsize the image. How can I save it in a larger size and be able to upload it to MM? Thanks maybe I am being silly asking this questions but I would like to know how you guys do it and I can't tongue

As a retoucher, I presume you use Photoshop?  Change the images size so it is no more than 400 pixels wide do a "save as"  naming it test-name and then put it on Photo bucket or other free display site and then copy the img code.

I was only correcting the size for Mayhem, not really referring to the Photobucket part.

For posting images here directly from your Mayhem portfolio, go to the full sized image, & right-click on it, & choose Properties. In the box that opens go to the "Address url" and copy the image location info. (ending in jpg)

Then, in your forum post, insert that complete info between [ img] and [ /img ]  (without the blank spaces)

If you are linking to photos in your MM port, if you want it bigger, remove the _m and it will be bigger

Where did you go wrong?
- do not put a space after [img]
- the last
- no space before [/img]
