There is this chick at my work who is über hipster. The glasses, the clothes, the music, she exudes hipster. The other day she came in with an old Nikon and asked the guys in the art department how to use it. They had no idea but pointed her in my direction because they knew I studied film photography. Now she walks around the freaking office with the thing around her neck. Like something awfully cool is going to happen? Come on man!!
ROFLMAO! Now I get it! One of the dancers in the company I shoot for just picked up a circa 1980s Minolta and several lenses and lugs this stuff around with him everywhere. I've never actually seen him shoot with it though. Probably can't figure out where the memory card goes.

Though - gotta love them and their craze for film; if they help keep the labs open and the production line open I'm going to "ooooohhhhh" and "ahhhhh" at their cross processed creativity just as loud as I can.
I love this one: “And we’re seeing a lot of
injuries caused by them trying to force a spare film
cartridge into the pocket of already too-tight skinny
jeans.”
I hope people realize that this article is a spoof, similar to The Onion articles!
