Ok these make my short list and I left ten or so off in no order
Since we are on the subject, I think some criteria need to be discussed. I agree, that "the best" is probably, in good measure, subjective, BUT, to even be considered in this competition, the following criteria MUST be met, (in my opinion) : First, the butt alone can't be judged without beautiful legs, and a beautiful waist. The transitions must be smooth, and the skin needs to be smooth, (no cellulite, or "stray" lumps or bumps). The hips should be smooth, and not protrude too much to the sides, (a barbell hip/butt shape from the front or back view is usually bad). The waist should be small, so the butt is a little bit exaggerated, (feminine attributes a bit exaggerated, but NOT gross). The butt itself should have a somewhat "teardrop shape" - that is, it should be larger at the bottom, and come to a perfect finish, SLIGHTLY tucked under at the bottom, but not have even the slightest appearance of sagging. It, (the whole thing), should have a basic ROUND look to it, from every angle. From the side view, it should "pooch out" a little, but not be gross. That means that there should be a pronounced inward curve to the small of the back. My own personal preference is a stomach that goes a little bit in the opposite direction the butt goes, for balance, and emphasis, but should NOT be gross, unless the woman is pregnant, which can have a special charm of it's own.
There you have it ! If I am going to be "nitpickey", these are things I would look for. All of that having been said, I have seen some fine examples. I'm not showing any here, but a few fine ones exist in my portfolio, and personal collection. I think it can be insulting to the model to set standards of perfection, that few, if any models possess, then show something that is less, or slightly less than perfect.
Just having fun !
