If some people can be planning for and thinking about Halloween in June, I can start pinteresting DIY Christmas decorations like crazy while planning out every single thing I am going to get for every single person on my list.
Fuck yeah, Christmas! Lights! Hot chocolate! Trees! Snow! Fundraisers for all the little children! Dino-Riding-Santa! Yay!
I <3 christmas! And my nephew will be 2 so it's gonna be exciting I can't wait to see his little face christmas morning, since last year he had no clue. PLUS, I can take him to see Santa and christmas lights.
Actually, Halloween will be fun too, I'm gonna dress him up as a photographer with one of those playskool baby cameras and we'll go pick out a pumpkin!! and go on a hayride.
because my brother and his wife work on almost all holidays (except xmas), I try to take him on holidays so he can do the kitschy kid stuff.
Christmas is the only Holiday I get really hyped about. It's the time when I break out the decorations and do it big.
I will also refuse to take down said decorations. They don't get taken down until my fiance gets fed up and does it all one day in late January.
I love Christmas, I go way overboard with presents, possibly because that's how my mom did it-- we never had money year round, so she always went WAY out at christmas and we had epic presents under the tree. He'll get like six good gifts from me alone, lol. And I DEMAND to decorate for Halloween AND xmas this year! Last year we did neither bc my mother was in a bad accident.

I remember that, I'm glad that things seem back in the swing since you are talking about doing it up for Christmas AND Halloween.
My mom always came through for Christmas, even when I was sure we weren't getting anything. I think the best year was when we didn't even have a tree all of December and woke up to a decorated tree with presents stuffed to the brim underneath. A lot of it was discount store stuff, but it was my favorite Christmas ever. She did almost exactly the same thing when I was around 14, and that was my second favorite Christmas.
I'll do what I do every year for Halloween and make myself yummy food and watch a ton of horror movies with the guy. I was all stoked when I moved into my current apartment thinking we'd get trick-or-treaters, but they all go to the down-town part of my suburb for a block thing. So, I shall just going to keep all the candy for myself.

Oh my god, before we bought the new house, we lived in the back of an apartment complex, on not the first, second, or third massive hill, but the fourth. For two years I decorated and bought candy and eagerly waited for trick or treaters, lol. I got ZILCH. Not a single one! So I'm excited this year, we bought a house in an newer neighborhood with a TON of kids, and I know they actually do a haunted mansion every year, so I'll probably volunteer for that.
