The current cost to attend this 6 day cruiseboat photoshoot event is an INSANELY LOW PRICE of less than $350 per person (double occupancy necessary).  To review additional details and to book your cruise on this event, click on the link below.  http://www.carnival.com/core/cruisedeta … tierCode:,

I just tried to book that rate with Carnival and they told me that rate is only for 4 persons per room (not2) the rate for 2 persons is 429 and only 3 cabins left at that rate. Do you have a different contact?

Hey Joe... you're using the same contact I am... going straight to the Carnival site.  The ticket prices for this cruise have been jumping up and down pretty wildly... kinda like the prices of gas in SoCal.  I wonder if that has any bearing on cruiseboat fuel... hmm

NOT the case! It doesn't make any difference at Carnival how big your group is. In fact the group rates for large groups is more than the lowest rates that we are looking at.

Hey Joe... what 'group rates' are you talking about?  From the price breakdowns on the Carnival website, I spotted no reference to large or small group rates... hmm

You are such a great vip customer of theirs, they should give you a few free rooms just like the airlines do with frequent fliers and free airline tickets smile

You need to talk to someone because I could not find them posted on the website. They offer groups one member free after so many cabins but the group rate is about $50. more per person than the saver rate that you and I have been getting.

Interesting... sooooooo... in essense what that means is... each person in the group would have to pay $50 more for their tickets, so that one person in the group (possibly you or someone you designate) could receive the free ticket?  Good luck trying to sell that idea to everyone else in the group... wink... lol

That is why I said the deals that you and I offer are the best you can get.
Anyone that says the larger the group, the better the deal is dead wrong.
The best deals available are what you and I have been doing for the last 4 years...

True... and that's why each and every ticket purchaser is better off going straight to Carnival Cruiselines for their tickets... ZERO middleman markup with some frequent price decreases and promotional offers... and Jessica at Carnival has always made me (and other ticket purchasers) aware of those offers BEFORE tickets are purchased... borat

Hey Isabella... the Sept 2nd cruiseshoot was definitely loads of funs... and it was great having you on that cruiseshoot... BUT... the format for this cruise has been changed, to guarantee even more funtimes... as well as better cooperation between participants, better communication between everyone, as well as a new and improved regiment of organization.  Details on that are on the first post under 'ATTENTION EVERYONE ATTENDING'... wink

An update for my friends. After almost 10 weeks the doctor finally said that I could put weight on my foot. I walked with crutches and it was something putting weight on it after all that time. I did more walking yesterday and some today. Little by little I am building strength again. I also have a walker and today I used it to walk out to the back street to the dumpsters. Dang, I got back and had to rest for quite a while. Yesterday I even drove to get something to eat, take out place with drive thru. Felt funny being behind the wheel after almost 10 weeks. I was like a kid, excited. I am thinking now that maybe I can get back to doing shoots in November.

Yep... and that's a pretty sweet deal!  My recommendation?... pairup with another photographer who's looking to sponsor a model and jump on that offer ASAP!  Both of you will be spending less than $700 for both you AND your model... borat

Amanda...nice to see you are interested in going again.  For anyone who didn't have a chance to work with you...you were really easy to work with...had a lot of great ideas...and were a whole lot of fun!  (BTW...I'm still behind on my cruise editing...and will be getting our shoot photos to you in the very near future.)

Definitely NOT gonna be cheaper waitin til the last minute.  If History repeats itself, the price will definitely go UP!  Best thing to do is start casting for your model(s) now (no more than 2)... and get confirmations real soon so that both you and her can mark off their calendars and become commited to coming... wink

best I could get from your link with 2 people in an interior was $898 + $116 taxes for $1000 something

and that was with early bird selected

am I missing something?

Ah haaaaa... I was looking at the 4 pack at $334... you were looking at the 2 pack at $449.  If we go in cahoots on a full room (with 4)... it's around $1500 for 4... borat

lol, I was just testing the waters with the rates

I would probably go for 2 in a suite if I pulled the trigger

I called my travel agent for prices and she is telling me she can get better rates or extras for a group ?

I had trouble finding an available model during the first Morocco room shoot. I couldn't even find my sponsored model. There seemed to be a lot of models collaborating together thus depleting the model supply. I did get to shoot with Lika right away but then it went downhill.
The Morocco room seemed like eye candy, but now looking at my pics it seems the background was too distracting.

Here is Ira shooting the fabulous Tina in the Morocoo.  And yes she is very distracting, wink
