Phillip Ritchie a fashion and fine art photographer has offered to do an open forum discussion. There will be a demonstration with a llama in reference to lighting, shadow and composition. As many of you know, I've been friends with him for many years. The last time he did this unfortunately, we were over crowded. Although this is short notice, if you'd like to attend there is no cost. But you do need to RSVP, the cap is 40 people. If this is insufficient time, we will plan this for the open discussion forum in the future.
His main objective is to help you see and put the creative art of photography into your work, if that is your direction.
Bring your camera, as he plans on asking some of you to participate in the workshop.
This open discussion will commence Thursday September 20, 2012 at 7 p.m. and end at 10 p.m., thereafter we will head over to Denny's.
Models - If you're interested in networking with photographers, then drop by this months open discussion forum. Phillip Ritchie will be doing a discussion on photography and a live shoot, he's looking for a llama with shoulder length hair. This is a fashion shoot.
If you're a makeup artist, this is an opportunity to work with Phillip and network with other photographers. RSVP will be needed.
Here's the update. Everyone that has replied and posted on here that they want to come to the open discussion meetup with Phillip Ritchie's mini workshop has been added. The number now is 22 and I'm going to cap it at 30, not 40.
I've capped the amount of people to 30 and there will be 31 altogether that have RSVP'd me. No more RSVP needed as it's maxed out.
There will be some chairs here that I've had from the past, some may have to either bring in their own chairs in case there's no more to sit on, or stand around for the meet up.
See you guys this Thursday, if you have any questions, feel free to email me here on MM.
mmm well I was going to RSVP then realized I was going to be there lol
my reason to post is about the model Andrea Christine MM 632662
I first met her when she was seventeen 5 years ago and then again at my birthday bash at Chanel OC Studio ,
well met her again at Chanel awesome new OC studio Saturday 15 Sept open house ,
very late in the afternoon she was being photographed and I was just looking when she saw me and said its been 5 years when you going to shoot me ,
now she is an awesome model but did not think she wanted to shoot my style of photography ,
so I said tonight at my studio ,
Andrea replied your on ,followed me to my studio , we chatted and I wanted to shoot Andrea the girl not the model,
told her my plan she said yes here is one from that shoot so I thought it would be a good idea to have her there , and go through how I put it together ,
and thank you all for RSVP and being interested in my style of photography look forward to a very enjoyable evening with you ,
