I haven't been to an agency meeting or open call in quite a long time,

Can yal look over my portfolio please, I think I'm ready to try and get signed by a legitimate commercial modeling agency.

Thoughts?

For commercial work you are going to need a really clean, fresh head shot.

Agree on the need for a headshot.  While you are definitely petite, your overall proportions are good, both body and face.  Great foundation, but to get commercial calls you need to build on it.  Go through your photos one at a time.  For each one, list the dominate emotion portrayed.  I think you will be surprised at how narrow the range is.  You need more than physical appearance and skills, you need to get involved.

So many of the commercial images I see rely on a great, natural looking smile.

The closest thing you have in your portfolio is:

In addition to a really clean and simple headshot I would look at getting some "smiling while I'm having my morning coffee on the porch at daybreak" or "laughing with my boyfriend and/or girlfriends at a restaurant table" photos.

You have a fabulous look - just work on adding a truly natural and contagious smile.

You're only 5' 2" ... I don't know of any legitimate commercial modeling agency willing to sign you.

+1

OP, you're very beautiful and extremely cute, but at 5'2" your best option would be a talent agency or acting/singing if you have any gifts in those areas.

Either that or remain independent and start shooting nudes.
