I am looking for poses that work well for models sized 12-14. These would be models with larger breasts but also with some extra stomach that they are not happy with.
The individuals I am working with are looking for both clothed, lingerie and nude images so any suggestions or example images in your portfolios would be greatly appreciated!

the main principles apply for plus and straight: stretch stretch stretch, show neck, suck everything in and know your angles to make the best of your body.

here's a board on my pinterest, that shows poses I like personally and that work well for a girl with my size and bodytype (I'm a 16, so bigger than in your OP, but if it works for a 16 it will work for a 12 too)

out of curiosity: are we talking about plussize models here, or a client that wants to shoot and has a size 12-14? (cause plussize model and plussize woman are usually 2 different things)
ah okay . well I think for the model, my examples will be great. for the client, probably a different kind of examples...
what's the age and height of the plussize client if I may ask? I have a ton of tips, but it really depends on how the woman looks

The client is 38 and 5'6".
ah okay. So we're really talking about a slightly older, chubby woman, wanting to shoot lingerie and nudes
this is a perfect angle for clients like that. it is always flattering, they (almost) always like it and it just generally works really well
you can use stuff as sheets and clothes to "cover up" strategic areas to create a more flattering result. but be careful with that, because you don't want it coming across as "the thing underneath is so gross and big that it needs to be covered up" either . so subtle!
way to do it correctly (right picture):
as someone else already suggested: having her lie down is usually flattering. but find the right angles. it can also look too heavy.
as far as flattering pictures of women lying down is concerned, I consider this man a genius
It's all going to depend on the woman and the shape of her body.
DivaEroticus mentioned London Andrews. Well, she doesn't have a paunch. There are poses you can pull off with that body shape that aren't going to work with another woman.
Soft fabric drapes and high key lighting are your friends.

I've always found a complimentary capture of a heavier model can be achieved by getting up high and shooting down as this forces the head up into a more streamlined position. Although I must add: at a recent makeover party the MUA wanted to interrupt this style as she believed it was forcing the gals to reveal to much decollete! I felt the ladies were happy with the results as they all ordered CDs!!
