Last shoot at this exclusive location until late spring of 2013, in comfortable high 70 degree temperatures. No sweating your buns off in 90+ degree heat at this shoot! The deep forest of Mt. Baldy will be location for this event, with hosts Nancy & Dennis providing their great cabin facility for the free refreshments, makeup, hair and outfit changing. We will be carpooling from the Select Models studio location at 11am on Sunday, Sept 30th, and arriving at the cabin at 11:30. The 10 invited models will be asked to bring a variety of outfits, with forest animals & jungle warrior themes preferred. There will be 2 reflector captains available to assist photographers with lighting effects. There will be one MUA available for touchups, with body painters and special effects makeup artists incouraged to inquire. There will be 3 scheduled one on one sessions during the last 90 minutes of the shoot (3:30-5pm), with groupshoot starting at approximately 11:30 and ending at 3:30pm. Models will be asked to arrive 'makeup and hair ready' with only touchups (by MUA Christina) at the cabin. Attention Photographers I've shot at this location over a dozen times, and believe me when I tell you... this is the land of FAST lenses and HIGH ISOs, as available light at this location is very subdued with limited sunlight and deep shade everywhere. Off camera battery powered strobe systems and reflectors are OK. Total photographer cost is $60 with only 12 photographer openings available (making this shoot close to a 1 to 1 ratio). I will be conducting an MM casting call for invited models, and posting invited models photos all this week. Here is my first attempt at a long exposure of flowing water using a neutral density filter. Exposure 8 sec. at f16, ISO 160, with a 0.9 ND filter. Using a tripod and timer release of course.  I am picturing a naked forest llama laying artistically in these rocks with the water flowing around her and over her. She would have to stay perfectly still for at least 8 seconds.
