exfoliating on set
ok just would like to know what people are using and their methods for exfoliating on set. I have seen numeous talents lately with winter and all that could do with a decent exfoliation. What products you use? what if you had no acess to a sink or water if your on location? What is your preferred method? Sep 19 12 07:54 am Link I LOVE Dr. Gross's peel system with the 2 little pads because you wipe on/wipe off, no mess. It is expensive, but totally worth it. Then With no sink I'll mist the face with water, apply Somerville's Exfolikate, let it sit a minute after gently rubbing in, remove with cotton pads that have water on them. No problem. Then a mist of rosewater or witch hazel. Ta da! Seriously, just the Dr. G. Stuff takes care of almost everything and comes in little foil packets, so they are a dream for the kit. 30 applications are about $80. I have tried it on me and if feels good but I have not tried it on a model or bride yet. You don't have to have water to (though you could keep a wash cloth and some bottled water handy), and the sugar dissolves really well into the Cetaphil. It doesn't dissolve too much, but it also isn't scratchy, so it does a really good job of getting dead skin off. And then Cetaphil on its own is awesome, so it leaves the skin really nice to work on.
