I'm still anti Chick-fil-A. They are on my permanent shit list. Kiss my $50-$100 a year good bye Chick-fil-A.

In other news, all inmates everywhere apologize for being bad, and pinky-swear not to do crime anymore.

We'll have to see the walk to back up that talk.

I know they hate that.

This whole thing was blown out of proportion from the beginning.  Most of the replies in here only prove that there's a huge bandwagon still making circles.  It's almost hilarious but more pathetic.

They have problems that affect more populous groups of people than the gays. You can hide the fact that you are gay, you can't hide the fact that you are a woman.

I like the food, but, like other chains, I find that some locations are better than others.

I always knew they were a "christian" owned company, even before the scandal, since they are not open on Sunday. What kind of retail store can survive by voluntarily closing a day a week? I always found that odd, and, from a business point of view, somewhat impressive. They must do pretty well the other six days.

The anti-gay thing was disappointing. That said, I'm sure the owners of other private companies have personal beliefs that I would also find repulsive. I just haven't learned about them yet because their owners were not stupid enough to make them public.

The controversy, as near as I can tell, was always about corporate profits of this privately owned company being donated to anti-gay rights causes, and not about a culture of discrimination in the stores or the corporate HQ. So, this announcement would seem to end the problem. Let's hope it is true.

I'd call that a victory. Of course, more are still needed.

Turns out it was a fairytale.

http://www.wnd.com/2012/09/gay-advocate … fairytale/

Mainstream media organizations have headlined over the last two days Chick-fil-A’s “change” they claim means the company suddenly is promising not to discriminate against homosexuals – and that it would stop giving money to those organizations that promote traditional marriage.

But it appears the facts are that the company’s anti-discrimination policy remains just as it was months ago – before the controversy over owner Dan Cathy’s Christian beliefs erupted – and its donations appear to have had no new directive applied.

Here it's straight from the horses mouth.

I have to wonder about the intolerance and bigotry that causes someone(some organization) to lie about what someone else is doing?

"Anti-gay"?

Bigoted propaganda?

How about "anti-Christian" or "anti-semite" for descriptors of liberal organizations?

At least the latter two would be accurate.

But's it's nice that all the pro-bullies have put themself on display.

When I see these organizations lobbying and funding projects that seek to keep Christians and Jews from having the same rights as everyone else (and/or calling for their extermination overseas), then you can make that claim.

Until then, STFU, bigotry-defender.

That would be odd, since Jesus was the original bleeding heart Liberal.

Not for profit arm of the corporation.  Fine and dandy.  But, that doesn't mean the individuals who run the corporation can't contribute millions to the very same causes that started this uproar.

Just look at Domino's Pizza.  The corporation itself doesn't contribute a thing to pro-life organizations, but its founder gives MILLIONS to anti abortion campaigns from his own pocket.

Disagreeing with someone is not bigotry.

On the other hand, labeling disagreement as bigotry is hateful.
