Lindsey; might request clean images i.e. sans watermarks for your book from those you collaborate with... their logos don't do anything for the narratives...

Other than that working with a full team a.k.a. hair, make-up and wardrobe is always a wise choice if you desire commercial quality imagery....

all the best on your journey...

Ya gotta be B R U T A L in selecting images to post in your portfolio. Your portfolio is your ad to attract photographers.

With that in mind, consider this image.

What does it tell me about YOU as a model that I can't read off your profile. NOTHING!
It's a wasted image slot as far as I can see. That could be anybody in that image.

Just my opinion.

what kind of work do you get paid to do most often?

or, if you don't get paid often, what kind of shoot requests do you get most often?

i think if you're 5'2 and you're willing to shoot art nudes, fetish, and lingerie... then you should emphasize that. if you get paid most to shoot fetish, for example, then do a shot with a corset and pasties and use that as an avatar shot... so photographers who are browsing model profiles will see that and know instantly that you shoot fetish stuff. or, an implied art nude type shot, if nudes are what put the most money in your pocket, etc etc.
