D. M. Gremlin Studios Monthly Open House Night

For FIVE years running D. M. Gremlin Studios in Long Beach CA has opened its doors one evening a month for this free photography and art community event .

Please join us once again in October for industry networking, portfolio sharing, and great company.  Tour the facilities of our $15-$20/hr rental photography studios, see the studios in action, and take part in open TFCD photo shooting.

And since it's right around Halloween, everyone is welcome to come in costume, and to bring any costumes or themed props to inspire Halloween photo shooting!

Every month, participating photographers, models, and stylists alike are walk away from the event with portfolio-worthy images ranging from planned production themes to spontaneous collaborations. Our 2010 Spooky Halloween shoot was a particular hit - check out some photos, here!

RSVP's for studio first-timers are due to studio@dm-gremlin.com by 6pm on Wed Oct 17. Please include your full name and the full name of each guest who will be attending, along with a brief introduction as to whether each person is a photographer, model, stylist, friend/family member, etc. This event is free and open to all, but we do need to plan in advance for who and how many people will be in the studio for the evening.

We look forward to greeting returning friends, and meeting many wonderful models, photographers, and stylists for our always-fun Halloween event!

Open House is back!  It'll be this event for October, and then our usual early December event to close out 2012 - fans of Open House, please return and join us!

We've had a ton of fun at past Halloween Open House nights.  No costumes required, but it's awesome when people come in costume.  We'll do costumed shooting, for models and 'non' models alike!

We've had some fantastic Halloween photo shoots and I'm sure this year will be no exception!

Keeping this date out of the way of all the big parties at the end of the month... get your costumes ready and start the festivities early!

We've got both musicians and photographers already on the guest list for this month!

RSVP from one of our regulars with a couple of guests - you can invite anyone, and all that's necessary is an RSVP with their full name and whether they are a model, photographer, friend, family, etc.

I don't post the names of people on the guest list.  No one famous, and if it's friends of yours, you probably know they're coming.  I do have a ton of RSVP's so far for this Friday's event.

RSVP's are open till 6pm Wed - tomorrow!  Still time if you or friends of yours are thinking of coming!

Guest list is closing just over an hour from now... still time to get in any last minute RSVP's.  We have a large guest list for this Friday, and looking forward to seeing all of the models, photographers, and musicians who have sent their RSVP's!

Looking forward to seeing everyone tonight.  For those missing out on this event, the last Open House of 2012 will be Dec 7, right between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
